Job description

The Ghana TVET Service is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced Ghanaians for recruitment into the Service as Catering Assistant under the Catering Class.

This position comprises multiple grade levels. Successful candidates will be placed on the appropriate grade based on their qualifications and relevant years of experience at the time of appointment.

Grade Breakdown:

• Grade I: Catering Advanced Certificate; minimum 6 years post-qualification experience.

• Grade II: Catering Advanced Certificate; minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.

• Grade III: City & Guilds or NVTI Certificate in Catering.

All successful candidates must possess a valid Ghana Card, National Service certificate (where applicable), and must be medically fit for appointment.

  • City & Guilds or NVTI Certificate in Catering.
  • City & Guilds or NVTI Certificate in Catering or Catering Advanced Certificate; interview. Grade assigned by admin based on qualifications and experience.
  • Valid Ghana Card (mandatory)
  • National Service Certificate (where applicable)
  • Professional qualification in Education (for teaching positions)
  • Medical fitness certificate from a Government Medical Officer
  • At least two (2) verifiable references
