Four steps from registration to appointment

The entire process is online. No physical visits required until you receive your posting and report to your Regional Director.

Dial the USSD shortcode to pay the application fee. A unique voucher code is sent to your phone immediately after a successful payment.

Log In & Complete Profile
Enter your phone number and voucher code to access the portal. Upload your Ghana Card, academic certificates, National Service certificate, and a passport photograph.

Submit Application
Browse open positions by class and region, select the role that matches your qualification, and submit your formal application with CV and cover letter.

Receive Appointment
Shortlisted candidates are posted to a TVET institution. Your official appointment letter is generated and available for download through the portal dashboard.

Eligibility requirements

All applicants must satisfy every criterion listed. Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be processed. Ensure all documents are certified true copies.

Ghanaian Citizenship
Must be a Ghanaian citizen or hold the legal right to work in Ghana. A valid Ghana Card (front and back) is required during profile verification.

Minimum Qualification for the Position Applied
Requirements vary by class:
  • Teaching Class (Senior Tutor / Tutor) — Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Education plus a professional teaching qualification.
  • Teaching Class (Technical Instructor / Assistant) — Technician Part I, II, or III Certificate or HND/Tertiary Diploma in Technology or Engineering.
  • Administrative Class — Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social Science.
  • Catering Class — Bachelor's degree, HND, or Advanced Certificate in Catering, Hospitality Management, or Home Economics.
  • Security / Driver / Labourer Units — WASSCE/SSSCE or BECE; relevant licences and physical fitness as specified per position.

National Service Completion
Required for all Teaching Class, Administrative Class, and Catering Class positions. Must hold a valid National Service certificate issued by the National Service Authority.

Professional Teaching Qualification
Applicants for Teaching Class positions (Tutor, Senior Tutor, Senior Technical Instructor) must hold a recognised professional qualification in Education — such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent. CBT certification is an added advantage for senior roles.

Relevant Work Experience
Senior positions require post-qualification experience: Senior Tutors and Matrons require a minimum of 1 year post-Bachelor's experience; Senior Assistants and Driver Grade I require a minimum of 3 years; higher grades for Security Guards and Drivers require up to 6 years. Entry-level roles require no prior experience.

Medical Fitness & Clean Record
All applicants must be medically fit to perform their duties. Security Guard and Driver applicants must satisfy specific physical fitness criteria. Any false declaration of qualifications or criminal history will result in immediate disqualification and possible prosecution.

Five sequential phases. Complete each before advancing. Phases 1–4 are fully online — payment is via USSD before you visit the portal. Physical presence is only required after receiving your posting in Phase 5.
